Cedarwood, Texas Essential Oil
Details
Texas Cedarwood Cedarwood Oil is similar in chemical composition to Red Virginia Cedarwood, and they can be used interchangeably. Texas Cedarwood has a clean balsamic scent and calms and balances energy as it heals the energy field. Botanically related to East African cedarwood (Juniperus procera) which is used in making pencils. Chemically related to Red Cedarwood essential oil (J. virginiana) as they have the same components but are proportioned differently. Rectified oil is what you will most often find on the market, but some authorities say the whole oil is safer, yet impossible to find. We visited a refinery of Texas Cedarwood and found that all their product was sent to Europe and we were unable to get it locally. From what we were told, it seems that the US was getting their cedar oil for commercial applications from China, as it was cheaper.
