Details
Spike Lavender Essential Oil has cineole in it and this makes it different than other lavenders. Spike Lavender is a kinder, softer eucalyptus in that it has the properties of eucalyptus, decongests and soothes aching tired muscles. It is more antiseptic than other lavenders and used in hand soap and wound healing. Spike lavender is more robust than true lavender and its scent also seems to be more aggressive or harsh. Sometimes it is adulterated with sage. It has a higher camphor content than true lavender and is used as a cheap fragrance and in varnish.
