Shipping Policy
Due to Federal regulations, most of our products can only be shipped by ground transport. With the exception of catalog only or book only orders which we ship USPS Media Mail, all shipments will be via Fedex Ground.
We have set a minimum Shipping & Handling charge of $10.00 (subject to change) which covers most orders. If the shipping cost on a specific order exceeds the minimum, the order will show the higher amount. Media Mail may be less than the minimum.
Backorder Policy
With the ever-increasing cost of shipping & products we are finding it necessary to revise our backorder policy. Many are disturbed by the fact that it costs almost as much to ship 1 item as an entire order. In the past we tried to mitigate this cost by waiving our $3.00 handling fee on backorder fulfillments; however, the fee is becoming less a factor as the base shipping cost continues to increase.
Consequently, we are implementing this new policy immediately and retroactively to any current backorders.
1) We will no longer backorder any item. It will be noted as Out-of-Stock and as such will need to be re-ordered on the next order.
2) If we have less than the quantity ordered, we will change it to what we have on hand.
3) If we don't have the size you want, we will substitute the next size down (if available) and adjust the price so that you get the price break associated with the larger unit.
We recognize we are living in an environment of rapid changes on all fronts. As such, when we repurchase the price may change from what is in the catalog.
