This oil is incredibly important because of this. So much of our lives are wasted in shame based living. Taken with supervision in a bath, it can change your life for the better. Extensively used in cosmetics and perfumes as a fixative. There is some questions to its safety in foods. However, some chewing gums and breath fresheners are produced from the root. Calamus is produced in four main areas with four distinct chemical races: North American (nontoxic), Central Europe (? asarone), Jammu (up to 90% asarone), Kashmir (15% asarone). Asarone is toxic.
