HISTORY INFORMATION: Native Americans used the tobacco plant as a sacred offering and carried it for protection and give aways. As Native Americans take from their environment, they will give back offerings of corn meal or tobacco. They smoked tobacco in pipe ceremonies to create a sacred place and bond between members.

GENERAL INFORMATION: There is an absolute without nicotine which is called blond. There is an essential oil from CO2 extraction and steam distilled, but they have nicotine unless rectified. The nicotine seems to be the offending constituent, therefore the absolute seems safer here. There are nearly 100 species of Nicotiana.

DESCRIPTION OF PLANT: A perennial plant growing to 15ft high with fragrant flowers and the scent is strongest when the sun goes down.
