HISTORY INFORMATION: This oil is coming from a small family owned plantation in Australia. They said the oil had definite medical value especially antibacterial. They also said that it was used to repel insects. As of this printing, I could find no herbal references.

GENERAL INFORMATION: There is another leptospermum producing a lemon tea tree. It is L. citratum, There does seem to be a difference in the chemical constituents. This one is sweeter than the other as there is more citronellal and geranial present.
