HISTORY INFORMATION: Here is a variant or chemotype. Verbenone from its scientific name cannot be distinguished from other chemotypes. You can tell by the odor as it has less camphor. It is not as stimulating as the other Rosemaries and may be used at night. It also clears catarrh better than the other Rosemaries.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Rosemary because of its popularity is often adulterated. If the oil seems too low in price to you, it is probably adulterated. Buyer beware. This oil is coming from a grower in France. Their care and selection of material is very fine and this is reflected in the price.
