HISTORY INFORMATION: Onion has an ancient history behind it. Raw onion was used against colds and infections, to support strong bones, and to cleanse the blood. The oil is now used most in the food industry.

GENERAL INFORMATION: There are many cultivers of onion. It is difficult to tell exactly from which variety the onion oil is taken. The onion most used in Europe and the Middle East for oil production seems to be the red onion. This oil should never be used without some precautions being taken. The odor can be quite offensive and can produce a powerful emotional reaction in the person using it. Personally I never use it unless I set up a scared space and call in my angels. If the oil gets on you or any of your clothing, you may use wet stainless steel to remove the odor. We sale stainless steel bars shaped like soap to take the odor off hands or the body. Both the bar and the body must be wet for it to work properly. Especially good if using for bath therapy. If you are using it in bath therapy, make sure that you first wet your hair thoroughly so that onion does not get absorbed into your hair. Wash all clothes and towels that come in contact with the onion separately so that the odor does not get onto other clothes. Open windows and burn candles while using.

DESCRIPTION OF PLANT: A perennial herb growing to 3ft high with hollow leaves and a globe flowering stem that produce a fleshy bulb.

PHYSICAL ACTIONS AND USES: Anthelmintic, antirheumatic, anti-infectious, bactericidal, antispasmodic, expectorant, fungicidal, tonic (digestive), carminative, depurative. Used for emotional clearing especially for anger and as a massage for rheumatism.

MENTAL USES: There is evil in the world. I and others can do evil deeds. I am ultimately responsible for how I behave and what I attract to me. My challenge is to acknowledge and not to deny evil.

EMOTIONAL USES: Anger or resentment towards authority figures, parents( fathers), or men, rage (often repressed), need to make nice, afraid of anger or powerful people, willful, overbearing, selfish, evil TO comfortable with anger and how to express it, at ease with authority as one sees themselves as the ultimate authority, at peace with any betrayers or victimization, comfortable with responsibility, feel in charge of life.

SPIRITUAL USES: Can indicate that some very horrible things have happened to you by those who are in authority. You have anger, possibly rage, that needs to be cleared from your energy field. You may find it very difficult to have relationships with those that you see as powerful or have authority over you. Onion is very powerful at clearing anger and betrayal over misusing trust often a sacred trust as in the father daughter relationship in incest. Onion allows you to see the lack of integrity or good intention in the situation. You can clearly see that this is not your fault, but a violation of your trust and faith. Onion can clear cult or satanic abuse. It can also bring up your darker side so that you become aware of your less than honorable deeds or your misuse of trust. When onion is called for it shows that the person has started to grow up and stop blaming others for their problems and is becoming responsible for their shadow. This oil is not to be used with out spiritual guidance as very negative energy can be activated within the energy field and one can become frightened of what they find and help may be needed from spiritual sources to remove some of this negative energy.
