HISTORY INFORMATION: This oil comes from a small plantation in Australia. It is relatively new to the world. Lemon Myrtle was not classified until some time in the 1800's. The oil is used in vinaigrettes, mayonnaise, salad dressings, custards, sorbets, cheese cakes, and ice cream. They also use to relieve chest congestion, as a massage oil and inhalant to promote relaxation and sleep. The leaves and seeds of the tree are also used in cooking: curries, fish, tea, vinegars, and biscuits.

GENERAL INFORMATION: When our chemist tested this oil, he felt it was a phony and questioned the grower. It seems the way the oil tested out that it could easily be a blended oil. We liked the scent. See what you think?

DESCRIPTION OF PLANT: Evergreen tree growing to 25ft with 4 inch lance shaped leathery leaves producing small white flower clusters.

MENTAL USES: I feel good about myself and I can express so that others feel good abut themselves. I enjoy being with people and they enjoy being with me. I fell equal to all I meet.

EMOTIONAL USES: Prideful, arrogant, feeling inferior, afraid others will find you are not as good as they are, unable to communicate so that others want to listen to you, avoided TO good self esteem, genuinely care about others, equality of communication.

SPIRITUAL USES: Can indicate you may behave in a prideful or arrogant manner. It could also mean that someone you know is behaving this way and you are having to deal with their arrogance. Nothing is wrong with feeling good about yourself and telling others. That is an honest expression. When it is expressed as a way of dealing with inferiority and a need to be better than, or I know better than you, then it is a problem for you or for those around you. Lemon myrtle gives way to feeling good about oneself without being arrogant. Information is able to be shared in a loving way and you are as interested in what they know as you are in what you know. It allows others to meet you as equals and for you to meet them as equals.
