HISTORY INFORMATION: Used to ward off evil spells in Europe, and it was once thought the plant could increase your psychic powers. This is one of the bitter herbs used during Passover.

GENERAL INFORMATION: This oil is sometimes referred to as Armoise. It is probably more correct to call White Mugwort (Artemisia herba alba) Armoise.

DESCRIPTION OF PLANT: A perennial herb growing to 6 feet high with multi-branches that have dark green divided leaves that are downy white beneath producing brownish yellow ugly flowers.

PARTS PROCESSED: Flowering plant.

PROCESSING METHODS: Steam distilled.

COLOR RANGE: Clear to light yellow.

CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS: Class: Ketone. High percentages of thujone, cineole and camphor.

PHYSICAL ACTIONS AND USES: Anthelmintic, antispasmodic, choleretic, diaphoretic, diuretic, emmenagogue, nervine, stimulant, tonic, vermifuge. Used for skin parasites. Used to calm, help one to dream, relieve menstrual cramps.

MENTAL USES: I step out of step when my inner guidance tells me to do so. I live life in accordance to my inner direction. Consensus reality does not direct my life, as I am my own person and I know what is right for me. I can say no and know that it will be respected.
