HISTORY INFORMATION: Commercially used as a fragrance and flavor. In India, it is used as a sassafras substitute.
GENERAL INFORMATION: There are over 250 species of cinnamomum of which camphor, cassia and cinnamon are a part. This oil is not to be confused with Laurel Leaf (Laurus nobilis). One Indian company claims that this oil belongs to the Boraginaceae Family, but this is doubtful.
DESCRIPTION OF PLANT: We cannot get a clear definition on this. Probably a shrub or a tree.

SPIRITUAL USES: Can indicate that you are wanting a relationship in your life and you have a history of relationships not working long-term. Laurel Berry is the oil of romance. It is about the excitement and enthusiasm of new love and just meeting. You could find that you are addicted to the romance of life, but not to the commitment of dealing with the hard core issues of relationships.
