Stainless steel with water will take the odor from hair and skin. There are special bars made for this or you can use a stainless steel pan. If taking a bath with garlic, first shower and get the hair thoroughly wet. The garlic tub water will not be absorbed into the hair. Lemon juice is said to help dispel the odor, but it only seems to last a few minutes. Make sure the area is well ventilated when using the oil. Wash any towels or articles exposed to the garlic separately, as the garlic can transfer to other clothes.
