HISTORY INFORMATION: This oil is named after H. G. Smith, the foremost pioneer of eucalyptus oils in Australia.
GENERAL INFORMATION: There are 700 different species of which 500 produce oil, but primarily oil comes from only 25 species. There is cineole (80%) chemotype and limonene chemotype. The limonene is the one more commonly used in aromatherapy.
DESCRIPTION OF PLANT: An evergreen tree growing to over 100 feet.
PARTS PROCESSED: Fresh or dried leaves, twigs.
PROCESSING METHODS: Steam distilled
COLOR RANGE: Clear to very light yellow.
CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS: Class: Oxide. Cineol up to 72%, pinene up to 11%, limonene up to 10%.

PHYSICAL ACTIONS AND USES: Anti-infectious, mucolytic. Used for sores, cuts, asthma, bronchitis, coughs, throat and mouth infections, arthritis, muscle aches and pains, rheumatism, cold, fever, flu, infections, headaches, nervous exhaustion. Used for increasing resistance and building protection to infections, children and sensitive persons. Used to energize in the morning and sedate in the evening.
MENTAL USES: I am strong and I can resist what needs to be resisted. I am safe and protected.
EMOTIONAL USES: Fear, doubt competency or self-worth, vulnerable TO strong, self-reliant, wellness, well-being, happy, safe.
SPIRITUAL USES: Can indicate that your energy field needs strengthening. You could have some energy drain temporarily as the adjustment happens, but you are going to be very well and strong. You may be getting ready to do some important work. It will make you very happy. Right now you need to fortify your system as this new work, job, spiritual mission will soon be here.
