HISTORY INFORMATION: This oil was created for the fragrance industry and therefore has no historical data.
GENERAL INFORMATION: This plant is related to Roman and German chamomile, but is not within the same species and is not a replacement. Blue tansy or Moroccan Chamomile (Tanacetum annuum) is often confused with this plant, but there is no relationship and the color of this oil is very dark blue while wild chamomile is yellow.
DESCRIPTION OF PLANT: A herb growing to 4 feet high with very hairy leaves and tubular yellow flowers.
PARTS PROCESSED: Flowering tops of plant.
PROCESSING METHODS: Steam distilled
COLOR RANGE: Pale to brownish yellow.
CHEMICAL CONSTITUENTS: Unknown constituents, pinene, santolina (up to 39%), camphor.

PHYSICAL ACTIONS AND USES: Antispasmodic, anti-infection, aphrodisiac, bactericide (coli-bacillusi), parasiticide, cholagogue, emmenagogue, hepatic, sedative, neurotonic. Used for sensitive, dry skin, eczema, dermatitis, liver and spleen congestion, gastritis, intestinal parasites, painful menstruation and menopause, depression, headache, insomnia, migraine.
MENTAL USES: I spend my energy on what pleases me, and I see this returned to me. I am at peace with myself and my world.
EMOTIONAL USES: Depressed, irritable, unable to sleep, unable to affect world TO energized, happy, sharing, nothing seems to bother you, productive.
SPIRITUAL USES: Can indicate that you are experiencing some dissatisfaction with your world or yourself. You may be blaming others for what is not working for you. You create your reality. As you give, you receive. If you do not like something in your world, change it within yourself and act accordingly. Your world will follow. You may have resistance to this and are convinced that your problems are outside of yourself. Wild Chamomile will help ease this resistance. Intend what you want and know that it will happen. You will be doing what you want and will be supported to do it.

WARNINGS\CONTRAINDICATIONS: Appears nontoxic at low dosages, avoid in pregnancy and with infants and children, may be skin sensitizing, also avoid on traumatized skin.
