HISTORY INFORMATION: Chemically and biologically this oil can be used as Atlas Cedarwood. It is also a true cedar. Since it is from the Himalayan Mountains and is associated with Tibet, there is a special place for this oil just to have these vibrations in your home. Refer to Atlas Cedarwood for more information.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Some taxonomists consider this to be a variety of Cedar of Lebanon (Cedrus libani) and some consider it distinctly different. Supposedly, the wood is not considered as good for making furniture as the Atlas Cedarwood.
DESCRIPTION OF PLANT: A conifer tree growing to 120 feet. No herbal references are sited. Refer to Atlas Cedarwood.

PHYSICAL ACTIONS AND USES: Antiseptic, antidepressant, antifungal, antiputrid, aphrodisiac, astringent, detoxifier (cellulite), diuretic, expectorant, fixative, fungicidal, insect repellent, mucolytic, regenerator (skin), sedative, tonic. Used for acne, dandruff, dermatitis, eczema, fungal infections, greasy skin, hair loss, skin eruptions, ulcers, bronchitis, catarrh, arthritis, rheumatism, relieves nervous tension and stress, promotes sleep, mental clarity, helps meditation.
MENTAL USES: I am a light. I am aligned with my higher self. I walk to my own beat and I am not alone, as I am with myself.
EMOTIONAL USES: Depressed, alienated, paranoid, panicked TO calm, assured, confident, feeling a part of community yet enjoying your times alone.
SPIRITUAL USES: Can indicate that damage has occurred to the energy field because of spiritual detachment and isolation.
